My name is Adriana Frank. I am a native speaker of English and have been from a very early age, even though I grew up in the Czech Republic. My entire education from primary school has been in English, which has opened many doors for me in terms of education and employment. Behind one of those doors has been a fully English bachelor programme at Maastricht University (Netherlands), where I am now in my second year. Before university, I successfully completed the Cambridge CAT examination and later the IGCSE Certification from a variety of subjects, all in English. I then completed the British GCE Advanced Level high school diploma. Alongside my studies, I have also gained experience in working with children.

It is in my nature to communicate and think in English more than in Czech - my mother tongue. I also know what it is like for children in non-international or not fully-English-speaking schools when it comes to learning English. Vocabulary and grammar are taught well in those environments, but I know from personal experience that that is not enough. The only way to learn how to use a language is by actually using it and learning from one’s mistakes along the way.
